Pathological study on development of chronic glomerulonephritis.

چکیده
For the study of chronicity, malignancy or development of diffuse glomerulonephritis, 60 autopsy cases of chronic glomerulonephritis were selected and their intrarenal vascular changes were compared with respective clinical data and clinical course. In arteries measuring over 200µ in diameter, the degree of arterioscle-rosis was totally proportional to age, duration of illness, blood pressure, etc., and the degree of fibrous simple thickening, fibrous proliferative thickening and necrosis was proportional to duration of illness but not necessary to other factors. As to histological findings, glomerular changes were in proportion to vascular changes in intensity. Malignant phase of chronic glomerulonephritis was noted in 20 cases and in most of these cases the duration of illness from onset of nephritis to death was relatively long. Such malignant cases rapidly increased in number since 1963 and there were noted some cases of death due to cerebral vascular insufficiency.

Exploration of pathological prediction of chronic kidney diseases by a novel theory of bi-directional probability
In the clinic, the pathological types of chronic kidney diseases (CKD) are considered references for choosing treatment protocols. From a statistical viewpoint, a non-invasive method to predict pathological types of CKD is a focus of our work. In the current study, following a frequency analysis of the clinical indices of 588 CKD patients in the department of nephrology, a third-grade class-A h...

In this first report on the experience with renal transplantation in children and adolescents in southern Iran during the past five years, thirty-two patients (aged 5- 19 years old 18 males, 14 females) received renal allografts. Pretransplantation pathologic diagnoses by kidney biopsy were: membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN), rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis (RPGN), chr...
متن کاملClinical and pathological considerations on renal diseases in patients with chronic viral hepatitis.
Chronic viral hepatitis B and C may associate different extrahepatic manifestations and renal disease is the most frequent. Kidney damage is represented in most cases by glomerulopathies, which include membranous nephropathy, membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis (MPGN), IgA nephropathy, focal and segmental glomerulosclerosis and diabetic nephropathy. We conducted a retrospective study on 63...

BACKGROUND The purpose of the current study was to investigate the pathological characteristics of chronic kidney diseases in the Tibet plateau and the plain. METHODS 77 cases from the Tibet plateau and 154 cases from the plain of renal biopsied patients with chronic kidney diseases were compared in a randomized, and parallel controlled manner. Pathological characteristics were defined accord...
متن کاملAllosuppressor- and allohelper-T cells in acute and chronic graft-vs.- host (GVH) disease. III. Different Lyt subsets of donor T cells induce different pathological syndromes
Previous work from this laboratory has led to the hypothesis that the stimulatory pathological symptoms of chronic graft-vs.-host disease (GVHD) are caused by alloreactive donor T helper (TH) cells, whereas the suppressive pathological symptoms of acute GVHD are caused by alloreactive T suppressor (TS) cells of the donor. In the present paper we analyzed the Lyt phenotypes of B10 donor T cells ...
